About me

Minnesota-based software engineer with of experience in system design and architecture, and fixing the occasional PEBKAC moment. I thrive on tackling vague and undefined projects that demand creative solutions.

Work

I help engineer and architect solutions in the health tech space to solve healthcare interoperability issues. Adopting tech driven solutions in healthcare will help us move forward and put patient care back in the hands of providers, instead of clunky, inefficient operational processes.

Play

Like everyone else I am working on LLM projects!

  • A FastAPI server which serves up local Hugging Face transformers to have a fully localized LLM pipeline which takes advantage of the awesome OpenWebUI interface.
  • A local solution which allows LLMs to execute and refine code in a docker container.
  • An LLM driven scheduling app that maintains small, lightweight reminders for anything from healthy eating to daily tasks.

Projects

I am guilty of starting and not finishing projects, and that is okay. Here are a few unique ones that I learned a lot from, and there are more to come.

Vexlus

Vexlus uses NER to extract meaningful data and a custom relation solution to map unstructured text into a graph. I've since moved on from this project as the current LLM solutions rendered the concept obsolete.

Synchronizer

Synchronizer extends Microsoft's Sync Framework to allow local databases to go remote, and resync with the server at a later time.

RaspiBot

RasiBot is an autonomous robot that used a sacrificed webcam and a few ultrasonic sensors to follow colors. Although the bot has been retired, it's code lives on in the repo linked above.

ASTR

A game that I made using Unity.
